Chiropractic Receptionist – Job Posting
Position Title: Chiropractic Receptionist
Location: Richland Chiropractic Clinic, LLC, Richland Center, Wisconsin
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $18.00 per hour, subject to change based on experience
Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. (break from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Chiropractic Receptionist to join our team. This front desk role is critical to creating a warm, welcoming experience for our patients and supporting the flow of clinic operations. In addition to traditional receptionist duties, this role includes limited insurance management responsibilities, such as payment posting and claim follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Interaction
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
Handle patient intake forms and ensure records are complete and accurate.
Administrative & Office Duties
Enter patient information into EHR or practice management software.
Perform general clerical tasks: scanning, faxing, filing, and mailing.
Collect and process co-pays, balances, and credit card payments.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient information (HIPAA compliance required).
Insurance Management (Limited Scope)
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
Post insurance payments and reconcile them with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Submit claims electronically or manually when necessary.
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies.
Communicate clearly with patients about coverage, authorizations, and balances.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
1+ year of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience.
Knowledge of insurance billing basics (co-pays, EOBs, CPT codes) preferred.
Familiarity with chiropractic or medical office procedures is a plus.
Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
